S.E.M.U. is a cultural and scientific association based in Catania, Sicily, that promotes accessible education, sustainability, and community engagement. With a headquarters built using recycled materials, the association embodies environmental responsibility and community-driven values.

I designed a logo for S.E.M.U. that reflects this spirit. The mark features a stylized “S” shaped like a leaf, symbolizing growth, sustainability, and the association’s ecological mission. The earthy green and brown palette reinforces their connection to nature, while the clean serif typeface conveys professionalism, learning, and cultural engagement. The overall design was created to be welcoming, modern, and versatile, expressing S.E.M.U.’s commitment to both scientific curiosity and positive social and environmental impact.
