I have always found it extremely interesting to study different illustration styles and the intricate details that give a recognizable imprint to each artwork. The process of discovering my personal style has been a lengthy journey; I initially delved into illustration by emulating the work of the greatest illustrators who brought my favorite shows and cartoons to life. The combination of my curiosity for the world of illustration and my passion for pop culture led me to start creating fan art featuring my beloved characters. Often, I found myself blending well-known characters with equally famous drawing styles. One of these projects is a collection of illustrations featuring the iconic art figure Frida Kahlo, inspired by 10 cartoons from my childhood.
